Congregational Life Committee
Purpose: To serve the mission of the congregation to make disciples by attaining the fullest possible individual and family involvement in the activities of the congregation, enhancing the utilization of the time, talents, and treasures of all.
Committee Functions:
- To charge Ministry Teams with goals consistent with the mission of the congregation and purpose of Congregational Life
- To recruit and provide training for Ministry Team leaders
- To help implement the strategic plan
- To identify ministry areas and develop new Ministry teams as needed.
Ministry Teams:
- Adult Care: Administer care for adult members through trained volunteers
- Communication: Advise, evaluate, and recommend methods of communication through the staff, the ministry teams, leadership, and members
- Discipleship: Develop programs, train leaders, and assist other ministry teams which will nurthure the marks of discipleship in the lives of our members
- Evangelism: Maintain and develop new programs for inviting people into membership
- Fellowship: Host occasional congregation wide fellowship events that promote relationship building
- Stewardship: Identify personal gifts of members and link people to ministry teams and tasks
